The RMA24 experiences program gives those who join you the opportunity to get a taste of the unique adventures Darwin has to offer. From gin making, to barra fishing, tours and a sunset cruise, RMA24 has experiences for every taste. 

These experiences run outside of the conference academic program and are designed give family and guests an itinerary of experiences unique to the NT.

Gin Experience

Gin blending experience

Cost: $150pp 18+ event - Registrations essential

Date: Wednesday 23 October or Friday 25 October

Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Inclusions: Drink on arrival, masterclass, 500ml take home bottle.

Charlie’s of Darwin is the first legal Gin distillery in Darwin CBD, located on the 2nd floor of the old Woolworths building, situated inside Charlie's restaurant and with a beautiful outdoor bar overlooking Raintree park .The distillery is focused on using NT botanicals to highlight the unique tastes of the Territory.

Treat yourself to a unique experience of fun tasting, creating & blending your own Gin recipe. Led by our master distiller or distiller assistant, our masterclass teaches you about the history of gin, the different types of gin and their unique characteristics. You’ll get hands-on experience creating and blending your own four gin recipes using Darwin Distilling Co unique botanicals. Once you have mastered the perfect recipe we then blend your creation into a 500ml bottle to take home with you.

Classes include a welcome drink on arrival, gin masterclass, bar snacks and a 500ml bottle of your own blend gin.

Litchfield Park Family Tour

Time: 7:00am - 5:30pm

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Litchfield National Park, departing Darwin city at 7:00am aboard a comfortable bus with your knowledgeable driver and guide. Along the scenic Stuart Highway, our first stop is at Banyan Tree Roadhouse for a leg-stretch before entering the park. Prepare for an adventure as we explore the unique ecosystem of Magnetic Termite Mounds. Then, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Florence Falls and Buley Rockhole, where you can swim in pristine waters and enjoy morning tea.
At Wangi Falls, an iconic spot, indulge in a freshly prepared lunch spread while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. Afterward, guests have the opportunity for one last swim before we head to Berry Springs Tavern for a thrilling crocodile feeding with Rowdy and "Soft Croc". Finally, we return to Darwin by 5:00/5:30pm, ensuring a flexible and memorable day for all.
Paspaley-Pearls

Paspaley pearls are naturally beautiful. Created by nature in Australia’s pristine northern oceans, these exceptional gems are hand collected from the ocean floor, and used to create the most stunning and unique designs. 

During this experience you will visit the Paspaley Boutique to explore the traditional method by which all fine pearls are sorted, graded, and the qualities that make Paspaley pearls the rarest and most valuable in the world.

Darwin Harbour Sunset Cruise

Experience the thrill of the open sea as we glide through the crystal waters of Darwin Harbour on an electrifying 3-hour tropical sunset cruise. Leave the noise behind as we hoist the sails of Sundancer, a luxurious 50ft catamaran designed for unrivalled comfort and safety in tropical waters. Barra Fishing Experience
