Welcome

The Conference

Rural Medicine Australia 2011 takes the latest in rural and remote medical skills, knowledge, and issues to the heart of the country.

This national conference is hosted by the peak bodies in the sector: Rural Doctors Association of Australia and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

The three day event will be held at the Alice Springs Convention Centre, 93 Barrett Drive, Alice Springs from Friday 28 to 30 October and will be preceded by a day of clinical workshops (Thursday, 27 October 2011) for doctors wishing to acquire or update procedural skills.

The program

Last year, more than 300 senior doctors, registrars, junior doctors, medical students and allied health professionals gathered in Hobart to make Rural Medicine Australian 2010 the most successful yet.

Choose workshops, sessions, and updates relevant your practice from the program, which has been specifically designed around the needs of rural and remote medicine.
